ON THE BEACH OF L'HORIZON

From the hotel, it takes just a few minutes on a bike to reach one of Cap Ferret’s most beautiful beaches. Then just a few steps to throw yourself into the sea spray and rolling waves, to follow their rhythm before climbing on your surf board. From the top of the dunes, the view is striking: a vast stretch of sand, rather like a desert, surging waves, their peaks and troughs, silvery reflections on the ocean… A spectacle at its peak at the end of the day: facing the Atlantic, the sun goes down slowly, setting the horizon ablaze with shimmering colours, and offering some of the world’s most spectacular sunsets.
